It begins with respect of, and in partnership with nature. It begins by treating my landspace as an ecosystem. For my space that means using regenerative methods such as minimal tillage, as well as organic solutions to balance and nurture the soil and grow healthful food for families to create a sustainable future for self, land, and community.
When I ditched the tiller, my broadfork became my tool of choice to gently loosen the soil. It’s hard work that’s paying off. Learn more about my growing practices.
The journey began as a quest to improve my soil quality & build soil biology. In 2020 the market garden became the tool to do just that. The evolution continues.
